Giuseppe Santostefano, 50 years old, trader and trade unionist C.I.S.N.A.L

During a Communist Party rally in Piazza Duomo, scuffles occur between communist militants and militants from the capital of Reggio. Santostefano is hit in the head and dies a few hours later without regaining consciousness due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
The testimonies collected by the law enforcement service indicate that the one who pushed him onto the pavement, where he hit his head, was a union nurse from the C.G.I.L, Antonino Rossi.
Rossi is arrested and accused of manslaughter.
