William Wacher, one of the main witnesses against the autonomists of the Barona Collective in the investigation into the killing of Judge Alessandrini and jeweler Torregiani, is murdered by a group of Prima Linea. Prima Linea labels him as an “informer.” Charged with “assisting participants in an armed group,” Vaccher had been released from prison four months earlier and was under house arrest. Susanna Ronconi, Sergio Segio, Maurice Bignami, and Roberto Rosso will be charged with the murder.
